NTSA training is for accredited rail organisations, their contractors and subcontractors to develop procedures to ensure that all people engaged in any activity in the danger zone of an operating railway:

have safety awareness and are aware of the safety responsibilities for their own and others safety;
have been trained and assessed in an NTSA course; and
have readily identifiable certification to show they are appropriately trained.

Course Content:
The course covers the following areas in detail:

1.   Situational awareness
2.   Track safety procedures
3.   Basic communication protocols
4.   Knowledge and skills in terms of job role or function

Course Outcome:
On completion of this course, participants will receive a National Track Safety Awareness card issued by CertRail.
